Embodiment Conference

I recently presented a paper exploring embodied interaction with typography at ‘The Body and Embodiment in the Arts and Arts-based Research’ conference organised by the London Arts-based Research Centre (LABRC), Camden.

It was a great opportunity to comment on a number of influential works and reflect upon my own practice in this area. A diverse range of researchers and artists presented outcomes from a variety of disciplines with ’embodiment’ as a connecting theme. As the theme was widely interpreted, the work discussed ranged from land art to poetry to literary review to interactive VR experience and much more.

The diverse yet engaging nature of the conference, as well as the low key charm of the Camden town house setting, gave the event a creative community atmosphere with a certain level of intimacy and authenticity. Thank you LABRC.

My paper received generally positive feedback and elicited a number of interesting conversations and connections. You can check out my slides below.
